Richard Washington develops on-line trainings and other resources for the National Resource Center for Reaching Victims. Currently, he is a Program Manager at the National Center for Victims of Crime. In his previous roles at the National Center, he worked as a Victim Assistance Specialist on the DC Victim Hotline, and also as Program Associate for the National Compassion Fund, which provides a single, trusted way for the public to donate directly to victims of a mass crime, such as a shooting or terrorist attack.
Richard Washington holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Criminal Justice and African American Studies from Old Dominion University and will complete a Masters of Arts Degree in Law and Legal Studies from The University of Miami in May 2020.
