Patricia Moen works with culturally specific programs to build their capacity to better serve victims in their communities, and apply for, sustain and grow funding to enhance their programs. Patricia is the Director of Strategic Implementation at Latino’s United for Peace and Equity (LUPE) at Caminar Latino.

Before launching LUPE, Patricia dedicated 16 years, most recently as Chief Operating Officer, to Casa de Esperanza, a Minnesota-based national Latina organization that works to engage and mobilize individuals, organizations and systems to end domestic violence. During her tenure, Patricia increased internal alignment and support for local initiatives, national initiatives, and administration; led, coached and developed management teams and directed the integration of new organizational leaders; managed the development and implementation of sustainability plans that increased government revenue by nearly $3 million and launched two multi-year local initiatives with revenue over $1 million; and developed and implemented policies to align the organization with federal requirements including successfully closing a clean desk review of six federal grants by the U.S. Department of Justice.

Patricia’s experience working directly with survivors and collaborating with community partners to deliver culturally-responsive services, as well as her fundraising and supervisory roles in the areas of Family Advocacy and Community Engagement, contribute to her broad perspective. She expertly uses her skills in strategic thinking, administration, systems-building, federal-grants management, organizational development, and mission driven leadership, along with her commitment as a compassionate advocate, to identify, lift up, build the capacity of, and foster the existing strengths and skills of individuals and organizations Patricia Moen works with culturally specific programs to build their capacity to better serve victims in their communities, and apply for, sustain and grow funding to enhance their programs.
